Your QuestionCreated on 2009-06-18 13:47:09 with 245 views. Q: How do I remove the salespage from my WP site's navigation? A: The simplicity of using the WP-SalesPage template is awesome, but what if you want to use this for both a salespage and a download/thank you page on the same site?
How do you make sure that the download/thank-you page DOES NOT show up as one of the pages in the blog navigation across the top of site's regular pages or in a sidebar page list?
It's definitely a bad idea to have a download page hanging out there for everyone to see.
WHAT'S THE SOLUTION?
There is an excellent free plugin for Wordpress that will let you remove an individual page from the navigation. Here's the link to it:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/exclude-pages/
You can also search for "exclude pages" in the plugins area of your Wordpress Dashboard. That will give you the ability to automatically install the plugin from within Wordpress.
Once you have installed the plugin, a checkbox will appear in the page editing interface on the right side that lets you remove the page from the navigation. |
